Emergen-C Vitamin C Drink Mix Review

Emergen-C is a dietary supplement in drink mix form, that is marketed as a “super energy booster.”

Not only does the product contain 1000mg of Vitamin C per serving, it contains 32 active mineral complexes and vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12. According to the company that manufactures Emergen-C, it “is a potent blend of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and other micronutrients that support healthy metabolic function, boost your immunity and give you a burst of non caffeinated energy.”

Emergen-C also claims that the vitamin C is in a non acidic, stomach friendly formula. Unlike ordinary Vitamin C supplements, Emergen-C also has a total of 32 active mineral complexes along with key B Vitamins.

Emergen-C is a great tasting mix that you add to water for a nice fizzy caffeine free boost. The instructions on their website say to “put powder in a glass, add four to six ounces of water, let it fizz up, let it fizz down, and then drink it up.” It’s easy to mix and the packages are small and portable and easy to take to work or on the go. A super convenient way to help you get daily vitamins, some people even use the fizzy mix to replace their traditional supplement regimen.

Reviews commented that Emergen-C is great for an energy boost or as a replenishment after a hard workout, or as a tasty way to ensure you get all of your recommended daily vitamins. Emergen-C was also touted as a great “pick me up” that is also free of caffeine and as an immune system booster.

Reviews said that Emergen-C was “great when you feel a cold coming on” and that the ingredients in Emergen-C helped the fight off sinus infections, head colds, hangovers, cramps.

All Emergen-C is gluten free. (free of gluten from wheat, oats, rye, and barley)  Emergen-C is vegan, with the original formula containing no animal products.

If you are pregnant or already taking medications, it is recommended that you consult a physician before taking any supplements.

The only negative feedback we encountered was that Emergen-C caused heartburn in some.
